ANSLEY—Jones Group in Ansley had the honor of being the first ribbon cutting in 2020 for the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, January 24. While Jones Group has been part of the Chamber for some time, the ribbon cutting officially marks the beginning of their membership with the Chamber.
The Ansley branch is one of the newest and farthest west branches and will be overseen by agents Sarah Zimmer and Hannah Jakubowski. Located on Main Street, across the street from the Ansley Lumber Yard, the newest addition to the insurance group offers the same insurance options that can be found at the other ten locations throughout the state.
“We cover everything insurance-related and we also have a financial services department out of our Seward branch that comes out here on a regular basis whenever we need them,” said Zimmer.
During the ribbon-cutting, Zimmer talked about the community support not only from area businesses, but also from other insurance agencies.
“It’s been very, very welcoming,” said Zimmer. “When we had the conversation with Mike [Jones] and Joan [Jones] and said, ‘we want to open a branch’ and they said, ‘where’ and we said, ‘Ansley’ they didn’t even blink.”
