LINCOLN - The Krist for Governor Campaign has issued a formal public records request to the governor’s office and department of corrections trying to learn why the Democratic candidate was not allowed to hold a press conference on the prison grounds at Tecumseh on Thursday.
A press release from the Krist campaign says acting warden, April Buling-June, was accompanied by two guards when Krist was asked to leave the property.
The press release says a government-owned SUV was parked in front of the Tecumseh prison sign.
