ARNOLD— A four-vehicle accident sent two passengers to the hospital on Saturday, August 11 at approximately 2 P.M. Adam Plew, who was driving a 2015 Toyota Rav4, was stopped on the side of North Carrol Street in Arnold as the road was closed for the Sandhills Open Road Challenge. Kaela McDaniel, driving a 2006 Ford Expedition, struck the back corner of the pickup. Swade McDaniel stopped his Ford Ranger behind the accident and then was struck by Douglas Bechtold’s Chevy Pickup.
According to the Custer County Sheriff’s Office, passenger Isiah Bechtold was transported to Callaway Hospital and passenger Jazlynn Bechtold was transported to Great Plains Hospital in North Platte, both with minor injuries.
