David City Man Charged with Meth Possession after Restaurant Employees Find Drug Inside

COLUMBUS, Neb. - A David City man is accused of leaving baggies of meth inside a local restaurant. 19-year-old Tristin Paulson is charged with possession of meth in Butler County. Records say in January, employees at a David City food joint found a black bag with eight baggies of meth inside of it. The employees told police that Paulson had been sitting in that booth before the bag was found. Documents say Paulson admitted to police that he owned the meth, saying it fell out of his jacket. Records say he told authorities that he carried the meth with him so that family members would not find it in his room. He will next appear in district court on February 6th.
