David City Administrator, Who Broke his Neck in July, Returns to David City

DAVID CITY, Neb.  - After raising ten of thousands of dollars from family, friends and community members, the assistant principal of David City High School is returning to town. Chad Fuller, who broke his neck in July, headed to St. Joseph's Villa in David City on Wednesday, where he'll stay until his home is made handicap accessible. Fuller's family and friends were able to help raise $41,770 for his medical and home renovation expenses. He was presented a check with that sum earlier in the week. He was injured in July in St. Paul after an accident on a slip and slide and was paralyzed from the neck-down at the time of the incident. Fuller, who coached wrestling at Syracuse before his David City job, was at hospitals in Grand Island and Lincoln, before moving back to David City.
