If you or someone you know needs help recovering from the flood, CONFIDENTIAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE is still available! Applications must be submitted to Central Nebraska Community Action Partnership (CNCAP) on or before August 1.
The Custer County Foundation (CCF) is partnering with CNCAP to provide monetary assistance to Custer County residents who experienced personal and agriculture loss due to the flooding that hit our county. Up to $1,000/household is available.
Financial assistance is available for the following areas: clean-up of a residence; hotel/displacement; sheet rock/paint/flooring; heating/ac/water heater; propane tank damage; well repair/treatment; counseling services; fence posts; barb wire; livestock feed; veterinarian bill; milk replacer; colostrum; hay; gravel; dirt.
Custer County residents seeking assistance will fill out a simple 1-page application and schedule an appointment with CNCAP. Go to www.CusterCountyFoundation.org and look for the “Click Here for Flood Relief Information” button to download the application. The deadline to apply for assistance is August 1.
