Crews Respond to Large Blaze in Merrick County

CENTRAL CITY -  A local sheriff's office says several crews were called to an early morning fire in Merrick County. The Merrick County Sheriff's Office said on Wednesday that crews were called to the 900 block of 6th Road for a large blaze. The fire took several departments to contain, including Champan Fire, Central City Fire, along with assistance from the sheriff's office. The incident is currently under investigation according to the sheriff's office.   No injuries were reported.
