CPPD Monitoring Power Lines As Wind And Debris Cause Outages In Region

High winds mixed with flying debris have caused outages throughout the area including Ansley, Mason City, Litchfield, and Hazard. Custer Public Power District General Manager Rick Nelson told KCNI/KBBN outages occurred in the aforementioned towns this morning and again this afternoon.

He stated crews are patrolling power lines and will continue to do so as the high wind conditions persist in the district.
