Columbus Sex Offender Charged with Felony After Working at Restaurant

COLUMBUS - A Columbus sex offender is back in court for a felony case, after violating the registry. Patrick Wolfe, 22, is facing a class 2a felony charge, after he worked at a local restaurant for over a month and didn't report it, says court records. Wolfe is charged with violating the sex offender registry act, which requires him to report any changes in address or employment to authorities, says court records. Wolfe is due for first appearance in court on Wednesday, says documents. Wolfe was convicted of sexually assaulting a minor in 2016, and is on the registry for a period of 25 years, says state records.
