Columbus Man Found Guilty in Felony Drug Case

COLUMBUS - A  23-year-old Columbus man is being sentenced on a felony drug charge, after police impounded his vehicle and found pills and meth. Columbus Police arrested, Nathan Johnson, back in August of 2017, when they found him near south 16th Street, working on his vehicle that had allegedly stolen tires on it, says an affidavit. After impounding the vehicle police say they found three containers with meth and multiple Tramadol pills in the backseat,  says an affidavit. A theft charge was dropped, and Johnson plead no contest to a felony controlled substance charge, says court records. The sentencing is scheduled for March 2nd.
