COLUMBUS - A Columbus man was arrested for meth and suspicion of committing child abuse, says court documents.
An arrest affdiavit, says police were called Sunday, to a 39th Avenue apartment, for a report that a man had become combative and was in a drug-induced psychosis. Columbus Police responded to the call and found Jacob Herrmann, 31, who they say was acting confused and showed signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance, says the affidavit.
Herrmann was reportedly holding a glass pipe with meth residue, which police fond after he consented to a search, says the affidavit.
Herrmann was jailed, and is facing felony charges for committing child abuse and possession meth.
