Columbus Business Burns Down in Early Morning Fire

COLUMBUS - A southern Columbus’ business’ owners awoke to their building on fire Tuesday morning. An employee at the business notified the owners just before 2 am that smoke was rising from the building. As of 8 am this morning the building has almost entirely burned down. The building is located on the southwest side of the viaducted, with access from 8th Street. Crews are currrently on scene securing power lines that run near the building, which housed the business Stenger Plumbing, which has been in town for roughly a year. The State Fire Marshall on scene says the fire is still under investigation, but hopes to have more details later today. Roadways on the south side of the viaduct are slick, after liquid from the fire fighting efforts spread to the street and froze over.
