COLUMBUS - A child was reported injured in east Columbus following a dog bite incident.
Platte County Sheriff's records say deputies were called to a location on East 25th Street, just after 9pm on Saturday. A child was reportedly bitten in the face by a dog at the location, and was set to be treated at Columbus Community Hospital, according to sheriff's records.
The dog was quarantined following the incident, says sheriff's records.
