BROKEN BOW–A candlelight vigil will be held on Friday, July 17 in memory of Crystal Esch. The vigil will take place at 8 p.m. in front of Costa’s Styling Salon located at 415 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822.

Event organizers ask that vigil attendees follow CDC COVID-19 guidelines. Vigil attendees are asked to spread out into the park to allow for social distancing. Masks are encouraged but not required.
A private family memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18 and the candlelight vigil is being held as a way to give the public a chance to help celebrate Cris’s life because the funeral will be regulated due to COVID-19. Event organizers want to share memories of Cris and give everyone a chance to pay their respects and celebrate her life.
