Brothers Charged with Boone County Burglary

ST. EDWARD - Two brothers are being charged with breaking into a store with a cement chunk, and stealing liquor and cigarettes. Court record say brothers Nicholas Pohl, 25, and Collin Pohl, 27, of St. Edward are being charged with breaking into Wert's G.W. in St. Edward, back in mid-January. The Pohl brothers allegedy used a chunk of cement to break through the glass front door to the building, before stealing, 10 packs of cigarettes and 6 bottles of liquor, valued at $223.78, says an arrest affidavit. The Pohl bothers each face a felony charge for burglary, as well as misdemeanor charges for criminal mischief $1,500-5,000 and theft under $500, says court records.
