BROKEN BOW–Due to the stormy weather earlier this morning, the potential of more weather throughout the day, as well as the soggy conditions of the Downtown Park, the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce has relocated the Third Thursday Activities from the city square to the Broken Bow Public Library (626 S D St, Broken Bow, NE 68822).
The Petting Zoo will be set up and ready to go at 4:30 p.m. in the Library parking lot and the Wissmann Family Concert will now be indoors at the Library starting at 5:15 p.m.
The Chamber took into consideration the equipment and instruments the Wissmann Family will be bringing and the need to protect them from any potential damage if another storm were to blow through as well. They are hopeful to have Pastor Santos available to provide music during the Petting Zoo as well.
As an FYI – there will be some extra parking across the street to the North in the former Lloyd’s Auto Repair parking lot.
Thanks to all the participants for their flexibility including the BB Public Library, Chris Smith at Palmer Monument (extra parking), the Wissmann Family, Kandi and the crew at Custer Federal State Bank and the vendors.
