Broken Bow Girls Golf Team Ready for State

The Broken Bow girls golf team will begin play at the Class C state championship on Monday (10/9). The Class C tournament will take place at the Lake Maloney Golf Course in North Platte. It will be a 36 hole tournament with the first 18 holes scheduled for Monday and the final 18 will be played on Tuesday. Broken Bow qualified as a team by claiming the C-4 district team championship last Monday at the Cozad Country Club. Representing Broken Bow at the State Meet will be Joelle Sanger, Madison Jackson, Kailey Johnson, Gracie Williams, and Graycee Oeltjen. Mahala Sanchez is the alternate. Sanger, Jackson, and Johnson will begin their round on the front nine while Williams and Oeltjen will begin on the back nine Monday. Joelle Sanger and Gracie Williams will tee off at 9:30; Madison Jackson at 10:34; Graycee Oeltjen at 10:42; and Kailey Johnson at 11:14. KBBN radio will provide hourly reports and updates during the tournament.
