ANSLEY—The third ribbon cutting in a week was celebrated by the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce in honor of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices—Premier Real Estate on Tuesday, July 28. Berkshire Hathaway opened an office at 720 Main Street in Ansley and welcomed guests to the special event and hot dog feed.
The real estate brokerage franchise covers land, residential, and commercial properties. The main office is in Kearney but realtor Matthew Marsh is excited to open an office in Custer County. Marsh grew up and graduated in Ansley and has always been adamant about growing the town.
“It’s wonderful. Like I was saying, Ansley is a great community and we’ve got some young people moving in and we’re doing everything that we can to make it better, more beautiful and it has a lot of potential. It’s a great town and so it means a lot to be able to put another business on Main Street,” Marsh told KCNI/KBBN.
Marsh began his career with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices—Premier Real Estate in March and said in addition to Ansley, he hopes to serve all of Custer County and surrounding areas such as Ravenna, Kearney, and Elm Creek.
Broker Wendy Kreis—who is from Kearney—said she is looking forward to the technology Matthew Marsh is bringing to the table to enhance the buyers and listing agency.
“When Matthew came to us and said that this is where he lived and grew up, we just made the decision that we needed to be able to expand and have a satellite office to be able to serve the community. Matthew has just been an awesome addition to our office,” Kreis said.
