BBPS Placed Into Brief Lock Down Following An Incident At The School

BROKEN BOW— According to Broken Bow Police Chief Steve Scott, the Broken Bow Police Department was called to the Broken Bow High School Monday morning around 8:30 AM.

The call was in reference to a student that caused a disturbance at the school. The student was asked to leave the school, but the student remained in the area, so the school asked for assistance from the Broken Bow Police Department.

The school was on lock down for approximately 40 minutes and law enforcement was in the area as well. There were no further incidents with the student.

Broken Bow Public Schools Superintendent Darren Tobey, stated kids were not allowed to leave the school buildings, but did go about their normal schedule.
