Arcadia Fall Festival This Weekend!

ARCADIA— The 64th Annual Arcadia Fall Festival is right around the corner and chalk-full of activities! The festival kicks off on Saturday, September 1 with events including: the fun walk/run, sand volleyball, bake sale, pinochle tournament, ALA quilt show, BBQ contest, ranch rodeo, bronc & pony bronc riding, AHS wall of fame induction, and music by Red Eye.

Sunday, September 2 follows up a busy Saturday with a pancake feed, community worship, free kid’s games, ALA quilt show, demo derby, and music will be provided by Modern Kowboy.

The festival will come to a close on Monday, September 3 with the big parade that will begin at 10:30 A.M. The theme of this year’s parade is: “Favorite Phrase or Saying” and for the kid’s division is: “Favorite Cartoon Character.” Make sure to keep your eyes open as this year, treats may be thrown from the floats!

Judged divisions include: Grand Prize-1st – 3rd place: Floats; Best of Show for Cars, Tractors, and Farm Equipment; Horses: 1st – 3rd place and best horse-drawn. Judging will begin at 9:30 A.M. with the parade to follow.

The rest of the day will host the Miss Fall Festival Crowning, BBQ dinner, Jr. Rodeo, and the raffle winner drawing.
