The 4 R County program has been a great success so far. The “win and pay it forward” promotion has taken place the fourth Friday of each month in Custer County since March.
Each fourth Friday, the public is invited to a location in Custer County where 4 R County will take place. Announcements are first made on KCNI & KBBN radio. At the given time and location, those in attendance are invited to draw from a deck of cards next to a vehicle covered in the logos of sponsors. Whoever draws the high card is the winner, who then chooses a nonprofit organization registered with the Custer County Foundation to receive the $300 prize.

Two drawings took place at the October 4 R County event at the Sargent Corner Market this past Friday. Two drawings are scheduled to take place November 29th as well, at a location to be announced that week.
