Nebraska track and field coach Gary Pepin named Big Ten men’s indoor coach of the year

Nebraska track and field coach Gary Pepin was named Big Ten men’s indoor coach of the year Tuesday, three days after the Husker men won the Big Ten indoor title in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The honor is Pepin’s sixth Big Ten coach of the year award since Nebraska joined the conference in 2011-12 and the 28th of his career.

The Husker men scored 93 points to edge runner-up Indiana (91) for their third indoor title in five years.
