The Big Ten and its television partners released times for most of the Huskers’ September games, as well as a pair of West Division road tilts at Northwestern and Iowa.

The Scott Frost era will begin under the lights as NU opens the season Sept. 1 against Akron at 7 p.m. on Fox. It’s the third straight year Nebraska begins the year with a home game at night.

Games in Lincoln Sept. 8 against Colorado (2:30 p.m., ABC) and Sept. 15 versus Troy (11 a.m., BTN) follow.

Networks are still to be determined for NU’s games against Purdue and Northwestern, but kickoff will be either 2:30 or 3 p.m. for the Sept. 29 matchup with the Boilermakers and 11 a.m. for the Oct. 13 game versus Northwestern.

The Huskers end their regular season with an 11 a.m. game against the Hawkeyes in Iowa City on Fox.

Game times and television information for the Huskers’ other six games will be decided six to 12 days in advance.

Nebraska football will once again be carried on B103 (KBIE-FM, 103.1 FM) across southeast Nebraska, southwest Iowa and northwest Missouri this fall.
