JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — A day after being cut, ex-Husker Tanner Lee is back with the Jaguars.
And he is joined by Nick DeLuca, a linebacker from Millard North who played at North Dakota State, as one of Jacksonville’s additions Sunday.
Lee, the lone Husker drafted this year, was among 10 players who were cut Saturday but added to the Jaguars practice squad. Undrafted rookie cornerback Quenton Meeks and running back Brandon Wilds also returned.
Lee completed 15 of 30 passes for 201 yards in the preseason and was sacked five times.
Other former Huskers who landed on a practice squad:
» Chris Jones, Arizona Cardinals
» Joshua Kalu, Tennessee Titans
» Vincent Valentine, New England Patriots
