Nebraska defensive coordinator Eric Chinander met with the media via video conference on Tuesday as the Huskers continue their preparation for Saturday’s game against Penn State in Lincoln. Chinander talked about the defensive performance from last weekend’s game against Northwestern and discussed how young players are stepping up.
Chinander was asked about the comments made by head coach Scott Frost Monday about quickening the tempo on offense because of how the defense is playing. Chinander said the defense should be excited to be on the field and look at it as an opportunity to make a play regardless of the scenario that put them on the field.
Nebraska faces Penn State in Lincoln at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 am. The game will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM with coverage on the Huskers Sports Network beginning at 9 a.m.
