GRAND ISALND – The Islanders and Vikings will be representing Grand Island in the playoffs this year, and both teams will be on the road Friday night.
The Islanders (6-3) have grabbed the No. 12 seed ad will face No. 5 seed Creighton Prep (7-2) on Friday night. The Junior Jays are 7-2. Both teams have a common loss to Kearney. Grand Ialnd fell to the Bearcats (9-0) 16-20 to start the season while Prep was defeated by Kearney 7-24 on October 13th.
Northwest will have a chance avenge a regular season loss against Columbus High (7-2) on Friday in a No.9 vs No. 8 seed matchup. The Vikings (6-3) fell to the Discoverers 48-30 back on September 8th.
