GRAND ISLAND – Heartland Lutheran is gearing up for a match against three-time defending six-man champions Riverside on Thursday night, but they will be playing for much more than a big upset. The school has named this year’s contest “The Houston Bowl” with all proceeds going to Lutheran South Academy, a school that was devastated by the hurricane the hit Houston.
The game will be broadcast live on NCN channel 30.1 in the Grand Island Area as well as streamed online at NCNSportsNow.com with live coverage beginning at 6:45 PM.
