UTICA – At least two people have died following a crash on Interstate 80 near the Utica exit on Friday.
According to the Seward County Sheriff’s Office, around 11 a.m., a pickup was driving on I-80 eastbound when it lost control and went across the median.
The truck collided with a westbound semi-truck head-on.
Authorities said at least two people, both of whom were riding in the pickup, have died.
It is possible more casualties could be reported.
The driver of the semi was transported to a Seward hospital with head injuries.
The extent of the injuries, and the cause of the crash is unknown.
