One Reported Fatality After Plane Crash in Brown County

AINSWORTH - One person is dead after a weekend plane crash in Brown County. Radio station KVSH is reporting that a crash site was located north of Ainsworth. Brown County Sheriff's officials told the radio station that a 10-seat plane took off from the Ainsworth Regional Airport headed to North Dakota with just the pilot aboard, but the plane never made its destination. The unidentified pilot of the plane is suspected to have died in the crash. FAA officials are expected to arrive at some point Sunday to begin their investigation. This is a developing story.
