Man accused of incest agrees to lesser charge

ST PAUL, NE (Omaha World-Herald News Source) – Travis Fieldgrove of St. Paul, who was accused of committing incest, has pleaded no contest to the lesser charge of criminal attempt at incest.

Under the plea agreement, the prosecutor and public defender are making a joint recommendation that Fieldgrove be sentenced to two years in jail.

In January, Fieldgrove was charged with committing incest with a woman, 21-year-old Samantha Kershner, who is both his daughter and wife.

Kershner is still being charged with incest.

Both Fieldgrove and Kershner remain in Hall County Jail.
