BROKEN BOW— It is time for this year’s Community Fishing Night in Broken Bow at Melham Park Lake! The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is inviting all ages to Melham Park for this family event on Friday, July 19 from 6-8 PM!

The fishing night is free and no experience is necessary. The NGPC will be on hand in their colorful fishing trailer where they will have rods and reels to borrow, bait, and certified fishing instructors ready to help!

All participants ages 16 or older will need a valid fishing permit if they plan on fishing at the event.

While you are at the fishing event, make sure you pick up a Common Fishes of Nebraska identification guide, with more than 60 species of Nebraska fish.
