The Sargent community is sponsoring a benefit meal and live auction to provide financial help for Donald Bentley. Donald was seriously injured in a car accident in June of this year with a spinal cord injury.
He is currently at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln. He graduated from Sargent High School in 1986, and has been a lifetime resident of the Sargent area.
The benefit will be held on Sunday, November 10th, at the Sargent Community Center with a meal of soup, sandwiches, and desert (free will donation) from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Donations are needed for a live auction which will start at 12:30 p.m. To donate items, label them with your name, and either bring them early (if possible), or contact April Kitt at 308-527-3983 for pickup or drop off.
