Two Rivers Public Health Department (TRPHD) is conducting medication takeback events in central Nebraska this Wednesday (August 20) and Monday (August 25).
- Wednesday, August 20th, 4-6 PM: Holdrege City Auditorium at 421 Grant Street
- Monday, August 25th, 11AM-12PM: Minden Senior Center at 403 N. Colorado Avenue
TRPHD employees will accept unused medications to dispose of them safely. The aim of the event is to reduce unused medications in homes, preventing accidental poisoning, intentional misuse, and potential diversion for illicit use.
Naloxone and medication lock boxes will be available at each event as well.
