Harold E. Koch age 81 of Broken Bow died Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Jennie Melham Medical Center after a brief illness.
Harold requested cremation. A private family graveside memorial services with military
honors for Harold. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 11:30
am at the Christian Life Center at 204 North 5th Ave Broken Bow, NE. Memorials are

Harold Edward Koch was born on September 24, 1943, at Callaway, NE to Harold John
and Mable Viola (Reynolds) Koch. Harold graduated from Broken Bow High School in
1962. Harold served in the Nebraska National Guard. Harold always worked on a
ranch and/or farming jobs. He worked in the Sandhills of Nebraska before returning to
Broken Bow and later retired from Adams Land and Cattle Company.
Harold enjoyed people watching.
Harold is survived by his sister Barbara Bacon of Waterloo, IA, three nieces and one
nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Charles, a brother Floyd, an
infant brother, and “Gilbert” the goat.
