Riley Dale Royle, age 26, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, January 27, 2023. At 2:00 pm at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow, NE. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Family. Govier Brothers Mortuary are in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be left at govierbrothers.com.
Riley was born May 30, 1996, in Fort Morgan, Colorado to Daniel and Capalou. Riley graduated from Broken Bow high school in May of 2015. In his free time Riley enjoyed being outside hunting, fishing, and being in the garage working on anything with an engine. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was always the life of the party wherever he went. He had a competitive streak a mile long and loved using it while playing pool, darts, card games and debating on his musical tastes with friends and family. Riley enjoyed the simple things in life like traveling, cooking/grilling, camping, and coming up with new drinks for people to try. He was always one to have a dad joke on hand at any time.
Riley was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend. In 2019 Riley moved to David City to be closer to his brother and nephews. He worked a variety of jobs. In November of 2020 he met Makaila Robertson and the two were later engaged in 2021. Riley and Makaila shared four children together that he loved deeply.
Riley is survived by his loving daughter Bonnie (Michaella Olson) of Broken Bow, Fiancé Makaila Robertson, children Ezekiel, Berkeley and Stella of Monroe, Father Dan Royle (Maggie) stepsister, Jasmin of Oconto, Mother Capalou Reef of Fort Morgan CO, Grandparents; Shelley Mager (Gary) of Broken Bow, Danny Royle (Sue) of Centerville SD, and Elmer Reef (Michele) of Padroni CO. Roggie Reef of Fort Morgan CO. Brothers; Kyle Royle (Jessi), children Colby, Wyatt, Ellie of David City, Trent Royle, son Daniel. Uncle; Dave Royle of Broken Bow. Aunts; Jill Schmitz (Henry) of Greeley CO, Carrie Royle of Denver CO, Cortney Stewart (Jason) of Fort Morgan CO, Sabrina Reef of Fort Morgan CO. And a host of cousins.
Proceed in death by grandfather Charles “Butch” Diehl and uncle Bo Reef.
