Helen Marie “Dolly” (Holmes) White, 83, of North Platte, passed away at Callaway Hospital. She was born April 29, 1939 to Pearl and Clara (Bergquist) Holmes in Dallas, South Dakota.
Helen’s (Dolly’s) hobbies included cooking, canning, quilting, crocheting, and gardening. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Helen (Dolly) liked to watch sports and traveled to watch sporting activities. She liked to watch Lawerence Welk and listening to polka and big band music. She enjoyed family reunions.
Preceding her in death were husband, Gary D White Sr.; parents, Pearl and Clara; father-in-law, Kenneth; mother-in-law, Lillian; brothers, Don and Duane Holmes; sisters, Arlene, Francis, and Phyllis; sisters-in-law, Virginia, Pat, Diane, and Cheryl; brothers-in-law, Bruce Taylor, Gale Daugherty, Bill Osborne, Bill, and Dennis; daughter, Debra White Hunter; son-in-law, Walter Hunter; nephews; Keith, Kevin, Gary, Ronnie, Ralph, Nick, and Jason; nieces, Sandra, Candy, and Rachael.

Cremation was chosen. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
