Charles G. Stubbs, 89 of Broken Bow, NE passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Brookestone View in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney with Pastor Dean Haidle officiating. Interment will follow at Kearney Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the funeral home.

Charles was born October 30, 1934 in Amherst, Nebraska to Frank and Encie (Casteel) Stubbs. He was united in marriage to Jane Carpenter on April 13, 1956. To this union, three sons were blessed.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Daniel (Pam) Stubbs of Kansas and Arlyn (Tracy) Stubbs of Callaway; daughter-in-law, Teresa Stubbs of Elm Creek; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Ermine Albrecht of Riverdale; and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jane Stubbs; son, Galyn Stubbs; 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
