Constance Joyce Pearson was born on June 29, 1950, at Broken Bow to Clifford “Bud” and Joyce (Thieman) Lomax.  Connie graduated from Broken Bow High School and attended Kearney State College.

On September 20, 1969, Connie married Bill Pearson Jr.   Connie’s three loving children were born to this marriage.  What started as part time work while the kids were in school turned into almost 50 years of working at Chapin’s Decorating, where she became known for her exceptional eye for decorating.  Her influence reached far and wide, as the homes, businesses, and individuals she touched reflected the care and artistic talent she put into every project. She could be seen early in the morning and late into the evening mixing paint to achieve that perfect color for her customers.  Connie’s passion for helping people realize their dreams was the driving force in her career, and she remained committed to this work until the very end.  Connie’s home was beautifully decorated to match her unique tastes and was one of her many proud accomplishments.

Connie had the softest of heart.  She loved people, animals, and all living things, she approached life with kindness and warmth.  Yet it was her family that held her greatest passion.  She was always supporting her children and grandchildren, she traveled to attend rodeos, speech meets, golf tournaments, and cattle shows.  Nothing could deter her from being there to cheer them on.

Connie is survived by her son Wade and wife Michelle Pearson of Oconto, daughter Laurie and husband Randon Peters of McCook, and son Chris Pearson and his significant other Stacey Richardson of Broken Bow.  Connie’s pride and joy extended to her grandchildren; Seth and wife Tristan Pearson, Hannah Pearson, Ryland Peters, Laney Peters, Emma Pearson and Gracie Pearson; as well as her great grandson, the light of her life Michael Pearson.  Other survivors include her brother-in-law Kirk McClymont, niece Ali Post and husband Billy with their children Sloane and Ryder, nephew Drew McClymont and his wife Katy with their children Paul and Michael, and special friends Gene and Lola Chapin and their family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister Leslie McClymont, and the father of her children Bill Pearson Jr.
