Winnebago’s quick up-temp style was too much for the Indian’s of Broken Bow. D’Von LaPointe poured in 25 points, many of which came from transition. MaNaPe Cleveland also had a monster offensive game with 27 points. Cleveland scored 6 of the game’s 8 points.
Broken Bow played with toughness throughout the game, and made a couple of runs in the second half. Kevin Linn played well knocking down multiple shots for a total of 22 points.
But in the end Winnebago had the answer, and was able to pull away down the stretch securing a 69-55 victory. The Winnebago Warriors will play the Wahoo Warriors for the Championship Saturday morning at 9:00 am, in the Pinnacle Bank Area.
