The West team claimed victory at the 46th Sertoma 8 man all star game played at Hastings on Saturday. The West team controlled the game throughout jumping out to a 12-0 lead and led 18-6 at halftime on their way to a 26-6 victory. The West finished with 317 total yards of offense and held the East to just 198 yards of offense. Area athletes that suited up for the victorious West squad included Hayden Griffith of Arcadia/Loup City, Kaden Haake and Andrew Furrow of Sandhills/Thedford, Slate Micheel of Twin Loup, Sid Miller of Anselmo-Merna, Isaac Welch of Mullen, and Coy Johnston of Sandhills Valley.
