Twin Loup Wrestling Invite Results / Area Recap

Twin Loup hosted its annual boys wrestling tournament on Friday.  Burwell was the team champion with 202 points.  Twin Loup finished in the top five of the team standings placing fourth.

Burwell had six individual champions in their weight class. Michael Hunter at 106 lbs. Holden Hodges at 132, Kolton Thoene at 157, Trentin Brown at 165, Kason Larson at 215, and Tysen Welton at 285.

The host team Twin Loup placed five wrestlers in the top four of their weight class. Wyatt Fauss was third at 144 lbs. Cazen Smith third at 157, Oran Grint runner up at 165, Blake Bottorf runner up at 190, and Brent Schipporeit was runner up at 285.

Anselmo-Merna placed four wrestlers in the top four of their weight class. Brett Olson was runner up at 113 lbs. and Jarrett Wells was runner up at 150. Placing third in their weight division were Jackson Christen and Tatum Seevers.

The Broken Bow JV’s placed three wrestlers in the top four of their weight class. Colton Uhlig was third at 126 lbs. Qwintin Holland was third at 285 and Braxton Eggleston was fourth at 138.

South Loup’s Josiah Coleman placed 3rd at 120 lbs.
