Tobey and McCaslin Named to All SWC Girls Basketball Teams

The Southwest Conference has released its all conference basketball selections for the 2023/24 season.  Broken Bow seniors MaKinley Tobey and Halle McCaslin received girls all conference honors.  Tobey led Broken Bow in scoring this season and was named first team all conference.  Joining her on the first team were Aubrey O’Hare of Gothenburg, Mattie Kamery of Minden, Kendyl Delimont of Ainsworth, and Avery Hurlburt of Holdrege.  McCaslin was second on the team in scoring this season and received second team honors.  Joining her on the second team were Kinsie Land and Myla Emery of Minden, Alex Beveridge of Gothenburg, and Aelyn Cain of Ogallala.

This season’s coaches of the year for the conference were Minden girls basketball coach Taylor Maulsby and Ogallala boys basketball coach Andy Gillen.
