Sub District Volleyball Starts Today

Sub District volleyball tournaments begin today around the state.  Broken Bow will compete at the C1-11 sub district at Gothenburg.  Broken Bow is the #3 seed in the tournament and will face Kearney Catholic tonight.  The match is scheduled for 6:15 and will be broadcast on KCNI 1280 AM / 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com.  Gothenburg is the top seed at the sub district and will play the winner of Cozad vs Holdrege.

Ansley/Litchfield will compete at the D2-6 sub district at Shelton.  The Lady Spartans are the #2 seed and will face Elba tonight.  The match is scheduled for 6:15 and will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com.  Shelton is the top seed and will play the winner of Palmer vs Heartland Lutheran.

In other area sub district action, South Loup will compete at the C2-11 sub district tournament at Southwest.  The Lady Bobcats are the #2 seed and will face Southern Valley tonight.  Arcadia/Loup City will compete at the C2-9 sub district where they will face Wood River with the winner advancing to play the top seed Amherst.  SEM is the top seed at the D1-10 sub district.  The night begins with Pleasanton facing Ravenna and the winner advancing to play SEM.  Tonight’s other matchup at the D1-10 sub features the #2 seed Burwell vs #3 seed Twin Loup.  Mullen and Sandhills/Thedford will both compete at the D2-10 sub district at Garden County.  Mullen will face Hyannis with the winner advancing to play top seed Garden County.  Sandhills/Thedford is the #2 seed and will play Arthur County.  Anselmo-Merna is the #2 seed at the D2-8 sub district tournament in Overton.  The Lady Coyotes will face Medicine Valley.  The top seed is Overton who will play the winner of Brady vs Bertrand.

Sub district finals will be played on Tuesday.
