The NSAA has released the state football playoff brackets for eleven- and six-man football classes. The SEM Mustangs have qualified for the six-man football playoffs and are the #6 seed in the D-6 bracket. SEM will open at home on Friday (10/31) when they host 5-3 Potter Dix. The top seed in the D-6 bracket is Garden County.
Gothenburg qualified for the state playoffs as the C1-6 district champion and is the #11 Seed in the C-1 bracket. The Swedes will be on the road in the first round and will play at #6 seed Fort Calhoun. The top seed in the C-1 bracket is defending state champion Wahoo.
