The Spirit of the Sandhills “Summer Shootout” Youth Softball Tournament which was to take place in Broken Bow has been canceled for the remainder of the weekend due to weather. Organizers made the decision Saturday morning after severe thunderstorms containing excessive rainfall moved through the Broken Bow area making the fields unplayable.
Showers and thunderstorms remain in the forecast for the remainder of Saturday into Sunday.
