BROKEN BOW- There will be a lot of action on the baseball and softball diamonds in Broken Bow tonight.
The Post 126 Juniors and Seniors will be back at Paul Brown Field to defend their home diamond against Ogallala. The Juniors are coming off a tough 3-6 loss to the Gothenburg Junior Melons on Tuesday, a game that saw Broken Bow tally more errors than hits. The Bow Seniors will be looking to end a six game skid, most recently coming off a loss against the Senior Melons of Gothenburg in a tight contest that ended at 3-4 on Tuesday. The Juniors game will begin at 5:30, with the Seniors first pitch to follow at 8:00 pm.
A doubleheader is on the schedule this evening for the Broken Bow Spirit 16/18U against the Sandhills Storm. The Spirit will look to end a four game losing streak that most recently included a loss against WNS Wildfire in a close 9-10 contest. Game one between the Spirit and Sandhills Storm begins at 6:00 tonight, followed by the second bout at 7:30 pm.
