The Southwest Conference has released its all conference volleyball selections for the 2024 season. Broken Bow’s Maren Chapin was a first team selection. The Broken Bow senior setter finished with 688 assists and 156 digs for the season. Joining Chapin as first team selections were Mattie Kamery and Myla Emery of Minden, Taryn O’Hare and Lindly Anderson of Gothenburg, Laney Caskey of Ogallala, and Keely Vaughn of Holdrege.
Addison Ellis of Broken Bow was a second team selection. The Broken Bow outside hitter averaged 3.3 kills per set and finished with 192 kills for the season. Other second team selections included MaKenna Starkey, MaKenna Betty, and Aubree Bules of Minden, Carson Sundquist of Holdrege, Addison Slama of Ogallala, and Grace Evert of Gothenburg.

Klarissa Dowdy and Olivia Neely of Broken Bow received honorable mention.
The Southwest Conference Coach of the year was Julie Ratka who directed Minden to the 2024 Class C1 state championship.
