The quarterfinals of the Southwest Conference basketball tournament take place today at the home court of the higher seeded team. Broken Bow is the #3 seed in the girls tournament and will host Ainsworth tonight at the Indian gym. Tip off is scheduled for 6 p.m. The winner will advance to the tournament semifinals scheduled for Friday at Kearney High. Tonight’s game will be broadcast on KCNI 1280 AM / 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com. Other girls quarterfinal games today include Minden vs McCook, Ogallala vs Valentine, and Gothenburg vs Holdrege.
Broken Bow played in the opening game of the SWC boys tournament Monday night. The Indians fell to Valentine 55-49. Valentine advances to the quarterfinals where they will play the top seed Ogallala today. Other boys quarterfinal games today include Holdrege vs Cozad, McCook vs Ainsworth, and Gothenburg vs Minden.
