The Mid Nebraska Activities Conference hosted its cross-country championships Tuesday at the Arnold golf course.
Sandhills/Thedford’s Shylee Gonzales was the girls individual conference champion with a winning time of 20:34.3. The rest of the top five included Zoe Johnson of Brady second (20:59), Ady Hampton of Mullen was third (21:24.1), Jade Bierman of South Loup was fourth (21:51.1) and Violet Gentry of Brady was fifth (23:16.4). South Loup edged Brady for the girls team championship.
Braylon Kuncl of Mullen was the boys individual conference champion with a winning time of 17:40.7. The rest of the top five included Jaden Baker of South Loup runner-up (18:39.3). Carter Peterson of Twin Loup was third (19:54.5), Walter Bierman of South Loup was fourth (20:51.7), and Jayvin Gentry of Brady was fifth (21:34.7). South Loup was the boys team champion and Twin Loup was runner up.
