SEM Wrestling Invite Results

SEM hosted its annual wrestling invitational on Friday. Amherst was the team champion with 194.5 points. The Kearney JV Gold team was 2nd with 149 points and Anselmo-Merna was third with 146. AM had seven medal winners including three champions. Tristan Olson was champion at 113 lbs. Tyce Porter claimed the title at 145 lbs. and Sid Miller was champion at 195. Other medal winners for the Coyotes included Jarrett Wells 4th at 132 lbs., Jadon Wells 3rd at 152, Sam McMillan runner up at 182 and Tayte Thornton 4th at 220 lbs. Other area highlights included Maddox Jones of SEM winning the 170 lb. weight class and Clayton Scoville of SEM was runner up at 106 lbs. South Loup had three wrestlers place in the top four of their weight class. Josiah Coleman was 4th at 106 lbs., Dawson Mason was runner up at 132 lbs. and CJ Quandt was runner up at 138 lbs.
